CLEM KIM (born 1991) is a South Korean and she was born in Busan, lived in the Philippines, Canada, UK and Franc. Currently staying in Seoul. She graduated in Chelsea College of art (UAL Fine art, BA) in 2018. She produces work in a variety of media including animation, art film, painting, illustration, sculpture and installation. She is highly imaginative, and also enjoyed making unusual creature as animation and sculpture. Since she was a child, she has been influenced by dream a lot. So she believed in the world of unconsciousness and surrealism. She thinks without the imagination and the sprit is only a shell. She using the shape of the deformed human body in her works. By creating a surreal form, paradoxically, she got herself more stability in her mind. Compounding nature and human body, the alteration of body from flesh to nature, they are attractive idea to her all the time.

부산에서 태어나 20대 필리핀, 캐나다, 영국 프랑스에서 거주하였으며, 현재는 서울에서 지내고있다. 영국 Chelsea college of Art(UAL)에서 Fine art (BA)를 2018년도에 졸업하였으며, 다양한 매개체의 작품을 만드는 중이다. 애니메이션, 아트 영상, 페인팅, 일러스트, 조각, 설치 등 독특한 형태의 창조물을 만드는 것을 좋아하는 그녀는 어릴 적부터 꿈에서 영향을 받아, 그녀의 무의식의 세계와 초 현실 세계를 믿기 시작했으며, 상상력이 없이는 이 모든 것은 그저 껍데기일 뿐이라고 생각한다. 유학시절 인간의 몸과 감정을 이용하여 변형시키는 형태의 작업을 많이 해왔으며, 초 현실적인 형태를 만듦으로써 역설적이게도 그녀의 마음의 안정감을 얻는다고 한다. 신체를 탐구하여 삶에 대한 방향성을 제안하고 이를 초 현실적인 비주얼로 표현하는 작업을 주로 한다.
